Commencement ceremonies were held May 13 for the ¹ú²úÂ×Àí East Liverpool Campus, during which Dr. Steve Nameth, dean of the ¹ú²úÂ×Àí Columbiana County Campuses, presided over the event, along with Dr. Susan Rossi, assistant dean for the East Liverpool Campus.
The keynote speaker was Rep. Timothy Ginter, state representative for the 5th Ohio House District.
Approximately 400 degrees were conferred this semester between the East Liverpool and Salem campuses.
On one of the hottest days this summer – with temperatures hovering in the high 90s – Lisa Vittorio and her Sunshine Team set up shop near the ¹ú²úÂ×Àí East Liverpool Campus and welcomed dozens of local kids to board the Sunshine Bus as they prepared to head back to school.

¹ú²úÂ×Àí’s Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Melody Tankersley recently announced that James Hannon, Ph.D., has been appointed dean and chief administrative officer of the ¹ú²úÂ×Àí Salem and Stark campuses, effective June 1, providing overall leadership for two of the Regional Campuses in the university’s eight-campus system.
