University policy regarding data handling

  1. Policy statement. The university requires the use of institutional data in order to carry out its teaching, research, and administrative missions. The university, through the division of information technology, will develop and publish policies designed to protect and use institutional data in a manner that is ethical, efficient, and supports the university鈥檚 strategic goals. 
  2. Responsibilities. Implementation and enforcement of institutional data handling policies is delegated to the vice president for information technology and CIO.

Diplomas

国产伦理 has partnered with Parchment Inc. to improve the diploma fulfillment process for graduates of 国产伦理. Upon final degree approval, the graduate鈥檚 diplomas will be fulfilled by Parchment.

In-Person Ceremony Participation Info

  • ADA Accommodations: Contact University Events and Protocol at graduate@kent.edu if you will need assistance with ADA accessibility at the ceremonies.
  • All Graduates: Please check in one hour before your ceremony in Room 153 of the MAC Center Annex to receive your name card and alumni pin.
    • Undergraduates, Master鈥檚 and Educational Specialist Graduates: After check-in, proceed to the MAC Center Gymnasium and sit

Guest Tickets

Each graduate who RSVPs will be allocated 6 guest tickets. Tickets will become available for download on November 18. 

Please make sure to access your tickets before the ceremony, as tickets cannot be printed at the event.

The gentle voice of indigenous poet Kimberly Blaeser filled the room of the Wick Poetry Corner in 国产伦理鈥檚 Library on Wednesday, March 6. Jessica Jones, associate lecturer of English at 国产伦理 at Stark, led a Q&A session touching on Blaeser鈥檚 new poetry collection, initiatives and inspiration.  Blaeser is an Anishinaabe activist who uses poetry as an outlet and to raise awareness for Native American tribes. She is also the founder of In-Na-Po, Indigenous Nations Poets. Subjects like climate change and 鈥渓anguage back鈥 are a part of her new poetry collectio...

I only have my unofficial transcript from Notre Dame. Can I still be admitted to 国产伦理 and have my coursework count toward a degree?

You can submit your unofficial Notre Dame transcript in your application materials and for a 国产伦理 advisor to evaluate for course transfer and program applicability. However, 国产伦理 must have your official transcript on file in order to process transfer credits to count toward program requirements and overall credit hours for a degree at 国产伦理. Visit the on the National Student Clearinghouse site to have your transcript sent to 国产伦理.
