Guest Student Instructions
A guest student is someone whose home institution is not ¹ú²úÂ×Àí. This includes students who are currently pursuing a degree at another college or university, as well as individuals who are not currently enrolled anywhere but meet the eligibility criteria and would like to take a few courses at ¹ú²úÂ×Àí.
Applications are now open for both 2026 Summer Institutes exploring semiconductor technologies and advanced manufacturing systems.
Participants in the Summer Institutes enroll in ¹ú²úÂ×Àí credit courses associated with their selected institute, and tuition is based on the applicable ¹ú²úÂ×Àí tuition rates for those courses.
Each Summer Institute combines academic coursework with applied learning experiences to provide participants with both technical knowledge and hands-on exposure to semiconductor manufacturing environments.
Participants complete two ¹ú²úÂ×Àí courses aligned with the focus and academic level of their selected institute.

Participants in ¹ú²úÂ×Àí’s Semiconductor and Advanced Manufacturing Summer Institutes develop both technical knowledge and professional skills aligned with the semiconductor and advanced manufacturing workforce.
¹ú²úÂ×Àí offers two Summer Institutes designed for learners at different stages of their academic and technical development. The primary factor in choosing the right institute is whether you are looking for an introductory experience in semiconductor technology or are ready for more advanced fabrication and manufacturing coursework.
