Career management is a shared and ongoing process through which employees reflect on their strengths, interests, and aspirations while aligning their development with organizational needs and opportunities. This course is designed to build clarity, confidence, and conversation readiness — not to guarantee advancement, but to equip participants to engage thoughtfully in the career development process within the organization’s current structure and opportunities.

Honoring and remembering the events of May 4, 1970, and educating others about the tragic day at �������� remain an ongoing commitment by the university. On that day, the Ohio National Guard opened fire on �������� students during an anti-war protest on campus, killing four students and wounding nine others. This year’s May 4 Commemoration, to be held May 1-4, 2026, will include special remembrances of John Cleary, one of the nine wounded students, who died Oct. 25, 2025, and Jerry M.

University Advising is pleased to announce the first quarter 2026 winner of ��������’s Advisor Impact Award: Kellie Jones-Cochran! Kellie joined the advising team at �������� Geauga Campus and the Twinsburg Academic Center in 2022, where she has made a meaningful impact supporting students pursuing Nursing, Information Technology, Business, and College Credit Plus.

Recipients of the Glenn Frank Distinguished Teaching Award (GFDTA) are unforgettable teachers who challenge their students and motivate them to achieve their greatest ambitions. Since 1967, the GFDTA has been honoring ��������’s most extraordinary professors. Sponsored by the �������� Alumni Association, the GFDTA is the university’s most prestigious honor in teaching. The award is presented annually to four part- or full-time faculty members who demonstrate extraordinary teaching in the classroom and devotion to touching the lives of students.
