In the U.S., men have slightly less than a 50 percent lifetime risk of developing cancer. American women have slightly more than a 33 percent lifetime risk of developing cancer.1

The Aflac Cancer Care insurance policy pays cash benefits upon initial diagnosis of a covered cancer, with a variety of other benefits payable throughout cancer treatment. You can use these cash benefits to help pay out-of-pocket medical expenses, the rent or mortgage payment, groceries or utility bills.
Here’s how it works:
- Aflac Cancer Care - Premier coverage is selected.
- Policyholder suffers from frequent infections and high fevers.
- Physician visit and bone marrow biopsy reveals diagnosis of leukemia.
- Aflac Cancer Care - Premier insurance policy has total benefits of $52,900.2
