The Department of Information Systems and Business Analytics brings together two dynamic, interconnected fields that are essential to today’s data-driven business environment.
Our programs prepare students to use technology, information and data to solve business challenges, support strategic decision-making and help organizations operate more effectively. Our curriculum provides you with a solid theoretical foundation in your chosen major or minor, as well as exposure to practical applications in your area of study. As such, internship experience is strongly encouraged.
The department offers undergraduate degrees in Computer Information Systems (CIS) and Business Analytics, as well as graduate degree programs, a graduate certificate in Business Analytics and a Ph.D. concentration in Information Systems. Students can also complement another area of study with a minor in Computer Information Systems. Through a combination of technical knowledge, analytical thinking and practical business applications, our programs prepare graduates for a wide range of careers across industries.
