Strategic Acquisitions & Partnerships Manager @ eBay
is a luxury, resale, and live-commerce executive whose career spans Christie’s, Sotheby’s, The RealReal, What Goes Around Comes Around and eBay.
A graduate of ¹ú²úÂ×Àí’s School of Fashion, where he earned a degree in Fashion Merchandising with a minor in Marketing, Howell began his career at Christie’s in the Wine Department before joining the auction house’s Handbags & Accessories team as a coordinator and cataloguer. He later moved to The RealReal, gaining experience in the rapidly growing click-to-buy resale market, before being recruited by Sotheby’s as handbags & fashion specialist for North and South America.
At Sotheby’s, Howell launched the department’s quarterly online auctions and helped build its direct-to-consumer, click-to-buy resale business, driving more than $40 million in product acquisition and over $20 million in sales within 18 months.
He subsequently joined What Goes Around Comes Around, where he led strategic partnerships and built the company’s live-commerce division, developing pioneering live-shopping partnerships with Amazon, TikTok, Whatnot and eBay.
In June 2025, Howell joined eBay as a business development manager, generating more than $100 million in GMV within his first six months through high-value brand and seller partnerships. He later relocated to Berlin to support the growth of eBay Live Germany and now serves as category manager for Watches & Jewelry. In this role, Howell oversees the growth strategy for eBay’s Watches & Jewelry business across the German market. His work sits at the intersection of luxury expertise, digital innovation, strategic partnerships and the evolving resale economy.
Kylie Gallagher, B.S. '10
Owner, Daisy Lane Kids Boutique
is a proud mom to two incredible girls, Adelyn and Mackenzie, and the owner of Daisy Lane Kids Boutique.
Gallagher's passion for fashion began long before becoming a business owner. She graduated from ¹ú²úÂ×Àí in 2010 with a Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising and a minor in Marketing. Following graduation, she spent over a decade in the corporate retail industry, serving in various buying roles where she developed a deep expertise in product assortment, merchandising, consumer trends and the creation of meaningful shopping experiences.
Gallagher stepped away from corporate retail to focus on her daughters, but unexpected events in 2023 motivated her to re-enter the workforce with a renewed purpose. Gallagher founded Daisy Lane Kids Boutique to blend her professional experience and creativity with her passion for family.
Building this business "takes a village," and Gallagher is deeply grateful for her family's support with her daughters. Her corporate background provides the leadership driving their growth as they expand their business model through an online presence.
Daisy Lane Kids Boutique offers carefully curated clothing and gifts for babies and children. Their mission is to provide a personal, welcoming and memorable shopping experience—a safe space where kids can be kids and moms can truly enjoy their time. They believe children's style should be fun, effortless and heartfelt, helping families celebrate both daily moments and major milestones.
Gallagher's journey is one of continuous learning, endless energy and dedication to achieving the success she envisions for her business.
