¹ú²úÂ×Àí has been named to the 2013 President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll. This designation is the highest honor a college or university can receive for its commitment to volunteering, service-learning and civic engagement. ¹ú²úÂ×Àí has been named to the honor roll seven times since 2006.
¹ú²úÂ×Àí is now accepting applications for a federally funded scholarship program that encourages careers in the sciences. The university’s Scholarships for Broadening Participation in the Sciences will annually provide 21 undergraduate scholarships, averaging $5,000 each, to promising science students.
East Summit Street, between Willow Street and Whitehall Boulevard, and South Lincoln Street, between Marigold Lane and College Avenue, will be reduced to one lane at various times of the day from March 25-29 for drilling pavement cores and soil borings. The lane restrictions will occur between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day. All lanes will reopen at the end of each workday.
Two-way traffic on East Summit Street and South Lincoln Street will be maintained by use of flaggers. Emergency vehicle traffic will be maintained at all times.
