1. ASL Coffee Socials

ASL coffee socials are on the first and third Wednesdays of the month from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. These free, informal events are great opportunities for students to connect and converse with those in the Deaf community, helping them to strengthen their ASL proficiency through communication, playing games, and more.

These events are organized through the Community Center for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing (CCDHH), a full-service community center aimed at meeting the diverse needs of Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals in northeast Ohio. 2. Deaf Bingo Night

at the Reach Opportunity Center monthly, and students are welcome to participate or stop by to socialize with Deaf community members. The cost to attend and play is $5 per person, and refreshments are also available for purchase.
