Two faculty members from 国产伦理鈥檚 School of Media and Journalism have won top honors at the Oscar-qualifying St. Louis International Film Festival for a short film that tackles the complex issue of elder abuse. The film stars Oscar nominee Barkhad Abdi, known for his role in 鈥淐aptain Phillips,鈥 as a rideshare driver who encounters an elderly woman struggling to secure housing after being displaced from a nursing home.

A dancer from the age of four, Spigelmire knew she wanted to incorporate her love of dance with her desire to be an entrepreneur. And now, Spigelmire is living the dream of owning her own dance studio, The Vibe Dance Company. Spigelmire of Stow not only opened her studio, but she also hired four 国产伦理 students, some of whom she attended dance programs with as a child, to teach at the dance studio.
