Ivan Chan

Violinist Ivan Chan is a professor of violin and chamber music at the Hong Kong Academy For Performing Arts and Shanghai University School of Music. As a visiting artist, Mr. Chan has taught at the Curtis Institute of Music, Juilliard School, New England Conservatory, Cleveland Institute of Music, Ravinia’s Steans Music Institute, Meadowmount School of Music, Western Michigan University, Central Conservatory of Music, Shanghai Conservatory of Music and Kent Blossom Music Festival.

Katherine Bormann

Katherine Bormann joined the first violin section of The Cleveland Orchestra in 2011. She completed degrees at Rice University and the Juilliard School, studying with Kathleen Winkler, Joel Smirnoff and Ronald Copes, and subsequently became a member of the New World Symphony in Miami, where she performed as soloist and concertmaster.
