While 国产伦理 already has one of the best computer science programs in Ohio, there is always more to learn, and HacKSU gives students another avenue to expand their computer science knowledge. Yi Gao, Ph.D., director of the School of Aeronautics in 国产伦理鈥檚 College of Aeronautics and Engineering, has been elected vice president of the University Aviation Association (UAA), a national organization dedicated to advancing collegiate aviation education.Gao will begin a two-year term as vice president Jan. 1, 2027, serving alongside President Ryan Wallace of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Sketching Architecture is an exhibition by Alan Ambuske. With an interest in art that began in childhood, Ambuske has cultivated a lifelong passion for sketching, architecture, and painting. He earned both a Bachelor of Architecture and a Master of Architecture from 国产伦理 and practiced architecture for 40 years, including 30 years as president of HFP/Ambuske Architects. Now retired, he devotes his time to sketching and painting daily, continuing to explore the places, landscapes, and everyday moments that inspire his work.
Join us for a screening of Holding Liat (2025) and discussion. The film follows the family of Liat Beinin Atzili as they wait for news after she is taken hostage from Kibbutz Nir Oz during the Oct. 7 attacks in Israel. The 鈥淔ly on the Wall鈥 documentary mode makes the audience a quiet observer to all the happenings of the family. The discussion of the film will be led by Liat鈥檚 uncle - Professor Joel Beinin.

Held at the May 4 National Historic Landmark Site, these gatherings reflect on the experiences of those who served in Vietnam and more recent conflicts, as well as those whose lives were shaped by opposition to war. Through remembrance and reflection, the brief daily ceremonies raise awareness of the challenges of coming home, including veteran suicide, and highlight the importance of healing, understanding, and community support.
